We share with you our achievements and events that took place in July, thanks to your support 😊
🔸 In July, we distributed 1,689 food packages to lonely elderlies.
🔸 We sent 256 hygiene kits to be delivered to the elderly with limited mobility by our partners (territorial centers and branches of “Caritas”).
🔸 In July, we began forming a new team of volunteer coordinators in Kyiv. Currently, 4 girls have joined the team, who will lead the Starenki volunteer community in Kyiv. We invite you to become volunteers and support the elderly together 🫶🏼
🔸 We held 2 warm tea parties for the elderly in Kyiv and Dnipro, where 60 Ba and Di had a wonderful time. The first tea party took place outdoors, in the fresh air. At the second tea party, seniors had the opportunity to participate in lively physical activities led by a sports trainer. The elderly interacted with each other, watched dance performances, listened to songs, and recited poems.
🔸 Members of our team participated in one of the tea parties together with other volunteers. Once again, we felt the festive and family atmosphere. Lonely elderly people appreciate these tea parties. For them, it’s one of the few opportunities to socialize and receive attention.
🔸 We held a meet-and-greet with our foundation in Lviv, where its active and caring residents gathered. In this way, we expanded our volunteer community in Lviv to help an even larger number of lonely elderly people.
🔸 We began getting to know regional organizations for collaboration and joint efforts. We visited the city of Brody, where we learned about the work of the “Fond Mariyi Mytrofanovoi” (Maria Mytrofanova Foundation).
