August report

We’re sharing the results and news of August with you: 🔸 In August, we distributed 1,291 food packages for lonely Ba and Di and 219 hygiene kits for elderly individuals with specific needs. 🔸 We conducted the last month of summer with 2 warm tea parties in Kyiv. The elderly love these tea parties as they provide an opportunity to socialize, have fun, and enjoy delicious treats. These cozy, almost family-like gatherings bring the warmth that they truly need. 🔸 We went digital and got even closer to the people of Kyiv. The Starenki Foundation is now listed under the “Help” section in the Kyiv Digital app, where anyone interested can easily become our volunteer. 🔸 We participated in the event “Kyiv-2023 City Workshop” held in Shevchenko Park. Alongside other foundations, we shared our activities and mission, ways to support the elderly, and encouraged everyone interested to join volunteer activities. 🔸 We began exploring the topic of aging and international best practices in working with the elderly, and we will soon share the results. And now, for the acknowledgments! 🔸 We thank the “Inocoft” company for assisting in the purchase of food packages for the elderly in Lviv. 🔸 We appreciate “Kyiv Digital” for giving us the opportunity to be in the favorite app of Kyiv residents. 🔸 Thanks to “PROПОРЦІЯ” and “Заріна” for providing delicious treats at the tea parties for Ba and Di. 🔸 Thank you to everyone who continues to stand with us! For your likes, shares, and comments. Your support and activity help us convey the importance of our mission to even more people, and the elderly receive the care they deserve. Hugs to all 🧡
