Olena Andriivna has worked all her life: first as a cook at a kindergarten, and later as a dispatcher at a motor depot. Now, at 70, she lives alone. Her husband passed away two years ago, and they didn’t have children.
Olena maintains a warm smile despite the worries and feelings of loneliness. From time to time, friends visit her, and a social worker provides basic care, but this is not enough to sustain a normal life. Olena has a third-degree disability and can only move around her home. Today, her pension isn’t enough to cover all essential needs, especially medication and food.
We want to support Olena because sometimes a single aid package can ease daily hardships and bring peace during these difficult times.
