May report

The last month of spring has passed and we are happy to share the news and results of our work in May☺ ▪️ 592 grocery and 28 warm sets for elderlies were delivered. Each receipt of help is a sincere word of thanks from the seniors and joy from each item in the kits. ▪️ We held 2 tea parties for seniors, where they could talk to each other, taste goodies and distract themselves from loneliness. ▪️ For the first time, we organized a photo shoot with make-up and hairstyles for our grannies, where they were able to feel even more beautiful. ▪️ During May, the entire team compiled the strategic goals of our fund for the coming years and together created a list of steps to achieve them. All so that seniors can receive even more systematic help from us and that they can regularly attend various activities to improve their morale. ▪️Supporting colleagues who work in the field of charity, and in particular with the topic of old age, is an important part of the foundation’s activities, on which we focus. CEO Varvara Tertychna shared the experience of our foundation with colleagues from @rescue.now, who are engaged in a project to help the elderly. And the co-founder of the fund, Iryna Baranenko, as part of the program “Strengthening IDP communities in the central and western regions of Ukraine” from Crimea SOS, held an inspiring lecture for IDPs who started their own charitable organizations. ▪️We also strive to gain new knowledge for even more effective work of our foundation. Program manager Victoria Drach joined the Voice of Elderly People training from the international organization HelpAge. And the coordinator Oleksandra Mulkevych participated in the civil society forum “Outlines of the Future”. Special thanks to @flowerpot.ua and @nashe.ukraine for their help at the tea party. We are grateful to everyone who supports our good cause: donors, volunteers and those who spread information about our foundation. Your support is of great importance to seniors who are left alone🧡
