June report

Productive work in the first month of summer has borne fruit! We share the results with you☺️ ▪️In June, we delivered 1,638 food kits for lonely Ba and Di. We also helped 50 elderlies with reduced mobility, who were given kits with hygiene products. ▪️Held 2 warm tea parties for seniors in Kyiv and Dnipro, where 85 elderlies had a great time. Our seniors chatted with each other, watched performances by dance and singing ensembles, and took part in a real art therapy session. ▪️In June, part of the Starenki Foundation team gathered together in Kyiv and went through the entire process of volunteer work — from packaging to delivery. Once again, they were convinced how important it is for lonely seniors to feel that they are not forgotten. ▪️Before taking care of others, take care of yourself. We created the first corner of care for our volunteers, which is located in the tercenter of the Shevchenkiv district of Kyiv. Now our volunteers can drink water/tea, have a snack before transportation and use napkins, antiseptic or gloves if necessary☺️ ▪️We found a new coordinator of volunteers in Lviv and during June actively prepared for a meeting with volunteers in the city of Lviv. ▪️Since June, we have also started providing assistance to old women from the picturesque village of Dykanka in the Poltava region. And now thanks!
