January report

🙌🏼 Sharing the results and news from January: 🔸 Conducted tea parties for the elderly in Kyiv. 🔸 Organized the purchase and delivery of 545 warm kits, which will be received by seniors in various parts of Ukraine in February. 🔸 Collaborated with an alternative school in Kyiv to host an event where seniors had the opportunity to interact with students on literature topics. Children prepared programs and tea gatherings for the elderly. 🔸 Organized the annual online team meeting and reflected on the 2023 activities. Currently, the Starenki team consists of 16 people, and such reflection meetings on the results of the fund’s various activities are very inspiring for us. 🔸 Attended a meeting with HelpAge International and civil society organizations to discuss the long-term care strategy for the elderly. 🔸 Participated in a broadcast on Ukrainian radio, where the head of the fund’s advocacy department discussed how the “Starenki” Fund helps the elderly during the war. 🔸 Participated in two workshops by HelpAge, where the key goal and tasks of the advocacy campaign for the rights of the elderly were defined, and a series of tactical actions necessary to achieve the result were formed. We are delighted to cooperate with such a partner in achieving common goals✨ 🔸 Expanded the team: Dasha, an SMM specialist, joined the communications department of the “Starenki” Fund. 🧡 Thanks to: “Zarina’s Pies” for co-organizing and providing treats for the tea parties.
