In the first quarter of this year, we provided food kits to 3,856 Grannies and Grandpas. Another 1,285 seniors’ homes became warmer and cozier.
During this reporting period, deliveries were much more difficult than usual. Elevators, mobile phones, and the internet were down due to the blackouts, and constant air raids and shelling made adjustments to the delivery plan. But nothing scared our superheroes because Grannies and Grandpas were waiting for help.
60 volunteers joined us. All of them worked with maximum efficiency, but some deserve special praise. On our virtual honor board, we put the six superheroes who made the lion’s share of food-pack deliveries:
